Griffin Lawrence

Griffin was born and raised just outside of Chicago, Illinois, and has been involved in sports for as long as he can remember. In high school, his primary sports were football and rugby. He went on to play collegiate rugby at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, where he earned a degree in Exercise Science.

After graduating, he commissioned as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and served eight years on active duty as an Artillery and Fire Support Officer before transitioning out of the military in early 2026.He completed his first CrossFit workout in 2013 and has been hooked ever since. He now lives in southern Oklahoma City with his fiancée, Claire, and their dog, Beau.
